4/15
Max said, "Gunnar! Did you toot?" "No." From the breakfast table across the room Trey said, "Holy-fart-a- moly."

Trey loves roasting marshmallows on the beach and eating "s'nores".
4/2
Trey, memorizing Ps. 34:13 which reads, "keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking lies," quoted "keep your tongue from evil like licking someone else's dessert!"

Gunnar, after hearing about lots of different types of dinosaurs God created - "No wonder He needed a day of rest!"
3/24
Max found golf on his Game Cube Animal Crossing video game. He was excitedly shouting things like, "Hole in 44! Wow!" and "Hole in 20!" Then Dave gave him some pointers on the clubs and at the end of the next hole he said in disappointed confusion, "What is a double boogey?"
3/24
At devotions last night we were discussing people in our church and how they serve the word. Max brought up Pastor Mike Ash and Trey said, "Yes, he is the 'Pastor-fier'." (He loves the movie 'The Pacifier'.)

Trey 3:23 Let the little children come and give me candy for this is right and I am hungry.
2/12
Max and Trey were fighting back and forth over who was smartest. Finally max decided to settle it all, "Well, what is 8,000 x 1,000,000?" Trey promptly replied, "Five." "WRONG!" Max said triumphantly. I don't know what the answer is either, but I know it's more than that."
2/7
After seeing the Super Bowl ad for some internet access something that referenced "connect-ile dysfunction" that made us laugh Gunnar said, "Hey dad, that's like "reptile dysfunction", you know, like you get from diabetes." Dave asked him what that was and he replied, "I have no idea. Something to do with blood sugar."
2/3
Trey, coloring a cross in Gotta Have God, "This is where Jesus Christ laid down his life for us." (Quoting from 1 John 3:1.)

Max, after watching a drug commercial that listed muscle pain and weakness as a side effect, "I've got that and I'm not even taking the medicine."
