At story time today they read a book about wiggles. At one point the book read 'wiggle all the way down to your underwear' which prompted Trey to shout in the quiet room, "I never wear underwear!" I was pleased I had chosen to sit far, far away from my child who always goes commando.

Max, during a fight with Gunnar, "I'M not invading your personal space. YOU'RE invading my personal arm!"

Gunnar was explaining to Trey that Grandma had been our au pair when he and Max were little. When Trey didn't understand, Grandma attempted to clarify, "I was their nanny." Trey was shocked, "You were their nanny-nanny-poo-poo?"

Trey noticed the crescent moon and commented, "It's always circles or bananas."

My niece, Laura, observed as I attempted to follow a yoga video, "The people on TV are all straight, but Aunt Vicki is all bendy."

Trey to Dave after an argument with Max: "Max is really smart. Whatever I say, he always says," then Trey mimicked Max's exasperated tone, " 'I know, I know'."

Dave and vickie,

Hello!!! I'm so sorry I missed you at the annual CCU volleyball game a few weeks back. I had friends in town for a weekend in the mountains...annual "girls weekend"(usually in MN) with high school friends. Also, not sure if Molly filled you in or not...Mar and Joe Diedrich lost a precious baby girl (continued prayers for healing are needed)and her benefit dinner(a chili dinner, nonetheless) was held in her honor(Baby Grace) that same weekend. Mar and Joe are doing OK...not great. Baby Grace was so beautiful...

Anyway, just wanted to say hi...Molly sent me a photo of the gang at the event....great photo!! Good memories from those days pop to mind....

I haven't had a ton of time to check out all of your updates on the site, but the photos of the land development are intriguing (sp?) and I will read more(BEAUTIFUL). I have no doubt you are both enjoying life and living it to the fullest!!

Niall says hi and we have an addition to the family...little Kennedy Rae is 7 months old and the light of our lives. She is amazing...funny and oh-so-precious!!! If you send me a note at jnmurton@comcast.net, I will send you a photo.

Great seeing you (electronically, anyway). Take good care and shoot us an update when you get a minute!

Jen
