I was traveling last week and called home to say hello to the boys. When Gunnar put Chris on the phone he immediately said, "Mommy, come home RIGHT NOW!" I told him it would be four more days and the next thing I heard from the phone was Gunnar shouting, "Chris! Don't throw the phone!" Guess that was the wrong answer.

Max helped a friend wrap a Christmas present and I wondered how that turned out for her. She said, "He did great. I told him he was a genius, but he said, 'No, I couldn't even tie my own shoes until I was 10.'"
