Dredged up the alphabet "Go Fish" cards for a rousing game this evening. Max and I were mystified when Chris asked if we had a werewolf. Thankfully, Dave was on his team and told us they were really looking for a fox. Max won - helped by Chris who drew a alligator for his team and promptly said to Max who asked for it the previous turn, "Max! Here's your crocodile!" and surrendered the card helpfully.

Max, running an errand for us, said, "I'll be back before you can say 'lickety-split' . . . one million times . . . very slowly."

Chris, puzzled, "Why does everyone call me handsome? I'm going to hide."
