This morning Trey was sharing candy he got from his grandma with Chris. Trey told me that Chris told him he loved him and I commented on what good friends they are.
Gunnar piped in, "We love you, Chris."
"We love y-," Chris started then stopped himself, "You're not my friend! Trey-Trey is my friend!"
Ah, the power of candy.

Trey ate a bag of cheesy snacks and his hands were a mess. Dave told him to go wash his hands and Trey replied, "I have a cleaner and it's name is 'tongue'."

On our 21st wedding anniversary, I got all dressed up to go out with Dave. Keren, my niece, even helped me straightened my hair. When I walked out into the main salon Trey said, "I prefer that version of you, mommy."
