Max called to me from his bedroom and I told him I would be there in just a minute. I finished up what I was working on then headed to the V-berth. When I arrived, he was sitting on the bed looking at his watch muttering, "18 seconds." I laughed, "What? You're timing me now? How'd I do?" He said, "Not bad. You're usually slower."
We volunteer as a family at the Tropic Cinema a couple times a month - Gunnar and Max run the ticket booth and concession stand with assistance from mom and dad while Trey greets movie goers at the front door and Chris eats popcorn. Last time we went Trey declared, "I want to work at the concussion stand this time."
Gunnar and Max were excited for Halloween on the morning of October 31st and Max said, "Gunnar, today we are going to party like it's 1999." Gunnar said reasonably, "Why don't we just party like it's 2008? People in Key West seem to be really good at that."
This morning we woke up to a boat decorated for Christmas courtesy of Gunnar and Max - complete with confetti snow and even mistletoe! This afternoon, Trey stood beneath in the appropriate spot, threw me a flirtatious look and said, "Kiss me, mommy, I'm under the missile launcher."
